SFL 2012 Fixtures Released 07-12-11

Heatherton kicks off the 2012 season with a Bendigo Bank 'Boundary Cup' clash with Dingley on 14th April.

All clubs will have two weekends off during the season - Queen’s Birthday weekend (Saturday 9 June) and Saturday 7 July.

Dear Steve

I am writing this letter to sincerely thank-you, the committee and every-one else at the Heatherton Football Club, for the two presentations given to me recently.

Firstly for the fantastic Billy Slater trophy (which is proudly hanging in my bedroom).

Secondly having the shield for Best Clubman Award in my name is an absolute honour.

At both of these presentations, I was totally overwhelmed. The generosity and honour bestowed on me left me speechless and I was unable to thank every-one properly.

Over the many years I have been involved with HFC the kindness and camaraderie I have received has always left me stunned.

To receive both these awards for doing something I enjoy immensely is nothing short of amazing.

Once again THANK-YOU very much to everybody at HFC. I am truly honoured.

Bendigo Bank Dingley Seniors The season has now drawn to a close for the seniors and the president and committee thank all players for having a red hot go against the Saints and not throwing in the towel. We were simply outclassed by a Saints team striving for a crack at this years flag. The 95 point margin was probably not a true indication of the efforts our boys put in. Milestone

Lachlan MacIntosh 50 Games 13-08-11

This week we celebrate Lachlan MacIntosh's 50th game for the club. Lachie made his debut in 2009. A balanced and evasive midfielder who in his first season played an important role in our reserves grand final team. Lachie is also dangerous near goals and his sharpshooting has resulted in a total of 30 goals to date. Very capable at senior level and is developing a leadership role within the club. Well done Lachie. We look forward to your next fifty.
